Used In Older OS
October 31st, 2009
If you are wondering what an fdisk is, and how it was used, you will hear of it being used in old operating systems such as Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows ME. It has also been used in other operating systems such as the Unix system. It is a command line that provided disk partitioning functions for the operating systems I had mentioned above. With those systems however, and sharing the exact same name and function, all the versions are in fact different. To find more in-depth information on it, all you will have to do is a simple search and you will have all the information and history you need.
