Muscle Gaining Secrets: Repetition Maximum

Repetition Maximum, maybe you are clueless about this workout type. But this training style is becoming one of the most popular and most effective workout style among other muscle gaining secrets in the fitness industry nowadays.Repetition Maximum is different from other muscle gaining secrets since it has more scientific and well-studied background. It theorizes that in order to gain more muscle mass, you need to lift gym weights that you can only lift up to the end of the repetition set. For example, if you’re on a barbell curls loaded with 20 lbs. and you need to do 15 repetitions, you must be able to lift that 20 pound load up to the 15th repetition only. If you feel you can do more after the 15th, say, you can push up to 16 or 17, therefore you are carrying the wrong amount of weight and you need to make that 20 lb. barbell curl heavier to around 25 lb. or 30 lb.
