The following consists of some thoughts to keep in mind when working with newborns. Remember when you are taking pictures of mom and the baby that mom just had a baby. Try getting shots of mom, dad and baby with their faces together. Take several shots with baby and mom together and then shots with baby and dad together and then shots of just baby. One fun pose to create with a newborn is to have mom sit on the ground hold the newborn up right and leaning against her chest.
