What keeps you going back to a particular blog? As someone who works in web design in Ann Arbor, I like getting a feel for what makes a blog successful. Sometimes I can get good ideas for design elements if I know what’s out there that’s hot or what’s out there that’s worked consistently. One trend right now is blog contests. Another is quizzes. I’ve even seen treasure hunts. To me, these things can work given the right audience. I also like that blogs can show videos, photos, and text content; he collage of media is appealing. I think I like a blog that is a good mix of all those things. But the most important thing is that info is interesting and relevant. I doubt that would vary from reader to reader.

Last year, around the holidays, my neighbor’s house was robbed and all the Christmas presents were stolen. He usually gives out high end stuff too, so it wasn’t a petty crime. The police had mentioned that this happens a lot and that some people are resorting to container hire to keep all their presents in until the last minute. I hadn’t thought to use it for that purpose, but the officer assured me that it’s becoming more and more common. It’s a more secure way of keeping higher end presents safe and also will keep your kids from trying to figure out what they’re getting before the big day.

I was looking at this site for a range finder and found this really cool tool that seems to be less expensive than many others but with all the features you would expect or want. Some of the features are: no annual fee for basic course plotting! It has a pretty simple “you are here” function that can be really helpful on a complex course, and lots of other features that can help you fine tune your golf game, and also make planning an outing easier. I think a tool like this will really improve my game and help me figure out more easily how many holes I can fit into the time I have etc. If you are looking to buy a range finder, I would say buy Sonocaddie v300. It’s the right tool for the price.
