Why I rent instead of buy. My husband and I have struggled over the idea of renting vs. buying a home. In the end, we have decided to rent. There are many benefits to renting a home. First of all, you are not tied down to a house and a mortgage. If you are like us, we like to have the option to move on a moment’s notice. That doesn’t mean we necessarily will, but we like the option. Also, renting a house gives you more flexibility with your money. Homeowners always have to keep in mind the upkeep of their houses. As a renter, your landlord takes care of the house. If the washing machine dies, or the roof leaks, it isn’t your responsibility to fix it. With that said, there are downsides. Renting is not permanent, so it can be difficult to put down roots. Also, you have to deal with a landlord and their time schedule to get things done. In spite of these drawbacks, I highly recommend renting.

We just love shrimp in our household. From shrimp cocktail to grilled shrimp-it’s all good! I decided to try to find a shrimp pasta recipe that might be something a little different. I spotted a recipe which called for bow tie pasta and a creamy tangy dressing, and decided to step it up and put in some of our own home grown tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers and make it a part of a nice fresh summertime dinner. Paired with a light fruit salad and some toasted garlic bread, this is a great and easy dinner to make and any leftovers of the salads can be a perfect, ready-made lunch for the next day!

When people ask, “how do I get rid of my acne?”, I always answer its very simple. That is because I had acne once, and by just a few simple steps my acne went away. I know everyone is different, but I took a holistic approach and cleared my acne in about 3 weeks. No expensive acne medications. SO how did I do this? I used a holistic approach and a healthy lifestyle. Now, my acne breakouts were not too bad, but still, if you have acne I would recommend looking at your life and just making little changes to live healthier. Drink more water, keep yourself clean, and avoid greasy foods. Exercise always helps too. Do these things and your acne will get better and you might lose a few pounds in the process.
